  I've been trying to break into
  the freelance illustration biz with not much luck.

  I thought that maybe this

  What do you guys think, it's not done
  yet and it needs some kinks worked out, but what do you think
  of the design/ illustration style?

  Your illustrations look good. One little feedback on the presentation, though: When you look at an illustration, it would be great if you could just click anywhere to go back to the menu instead of having to click the "back" button.

  From asking around, I wouldn't recommend Ispot if you're trying to break in. You could luck out of course, but the pricetag is pretty high...

  there's a bug in your swf. when I click the back to main button it goes back to the main image, but there is a blank screen for about 2 seconds and then goes back to the home image.

  Also not all the thumbnails work?

  I think your illustrations is good, but you need to spend more time on some of them. I like the hugh drawing too, it has more personality then the others. Maybe you should do a bunch that has a similar look to that.

  Thanks. but I think it needs
  a redesign maybe something
  more simple like the showcase example.

  But I plan to make the showcase
  a projector file on a cd that
  I will send out to art directors
  ect.. (to get noticed better

  I like the ninja and the flasher, animation. Also love 9, 10, 5 in your illustration section 6 is good too. There are personality in those illustrations.

  You should do more celebrities one and try to get a gig at Entertaiment weekly! They use a lot of illustrators.

  I agree, you don't need the showcase site. As I think your work in your portfolio is much better. Plus the showcase site is a bit flat compared to your portfolio.

  You need to update your site a little but it's really good.

  I'm trying to keep to one particular style in the showcase.
  9 10 and 5 will be in there.

  I am doing more celebrities,
  for the exact purpose of
  getting the work into E weekly or
  a simialr mag. E weekly is my
  big goal though.

  Baby biz is not going so well,
  but the glass dildo site is almost done, I will post
