Does anyone know the options of nailing someone that has broken the copyright law? For someone that doesn't have the money to hire a lawyer that is.
I am dealing with an idiot in Maryland that stole a lot of my copyrighted imagery from my site.I've emailed the guy but he responds acting like he doesn't know english. thanks for any advice.

if threat of legal action doesnt do the trick, i'm not sure there are many options... pretty clear cut case on your side though.
Impoverished as I am, if i was in your shoes I'd go to a nearby university and drop in on the Legal Services department. They have law students that will take your case for free, or a nominal fee (at least thats the case here)... and i doubt they could really fuck this one up. Legal threats from a lawyer might do the job before you ever have togo to court.
Until then perhaps a few third party emails will help dude remember his english... seems he knew english well enough to come up with

Lament try clicking on Chapter3's (Jens) name and viewing his NT personal info. His website is linked there. Its called Chapter3.net this is Jens site and underbot ripped images from him. They are all over that cheesy flash site which is not Jens (chapter 3's). Whew...

ok, Peter I got it the first time. :) let me put down my crack pipe for a second because it's clouding my brain. :)
however, i still contend that underbot lifted the sound effect from 2Advanced. you really think 2A would get effects from Flashkit? i doubt it.
but hey if you have a direct link to the file on Flashkit, i'll PayPal you $1. :)

I think those of us who have seen and heard about everything know that 2A is not scared of using stock photos or sound Effects. From Eric's first site to the existing 2A site there are sound effects & images used that are stock, and most likely found on other sites and Stock CD's that are easy to come by. Take the Girl on the new 2A site that is pressing her hands against the glass & the tunnel view. I have seen both of those images on other sites. and the sites using them were not ripping 2A. BTW who gives a flying fuck about 2A and theyre sounds. I guess you can keep the dollar. Im not spending all day on FK, but I think it is in SoundFX/Interfaces/Switches.
