Fuck Sky broadband. Second time in 6 months my bill has jumped up due to features I've cancelled or not signed up for just appearing on my account. Overcharged over £100 last year and after spending a week on the phone and eventually admitting it was their systems' fault refused to refund me, now it's happened again.

Only way to get anything from these fucks is to constantly throw tantrums and threaten to quit but trying to sell up / move house ATM so can't take a new contract elsewhere.

When you look at it, the difference between the likes of Sky, Virgin, BT contracts and the indie ISPs is a couple of quid a month. FFS could have saved that in Rennies alone.

    • What extras are the charging? do you just have broadband or whole package, TV etc.?
I wouldn't touch Sky with a bargepole tbh.

    • First one was a NOW tv bundle I took out, cancelled after a year but after a month re-appeared on my bill. Last month I had a 12 month offer end and they'vekingsteven
    • switched me to a talk package that wasn't part of the offer and i didn't have before + a general price hike on top. bill is over double what it was for Jan!kingsteven
    • not to mention the connection is shit (and tbh the internet isn't the refuge it used to be)kingsteven
    • not good and hearing this a lot. I have been on Virgin for years now with no issues. Insanely fast (where I am anyway).fadein11
