I decided to check Best Buy for Nintendo Switch inventory on Saturday, and to my surprise there were units available at a store not far from me, so I finally pulled the trigger and picked one up along with the new Zelda.

    I'm really loving this!

I'm having a lot of fun exploring the Plateau so far, and I'm enjoying the no pressure pace of the game. Wandering around, soaking in the sights, practicing the moves, interacting with the environment, and getting acclimated to the controls feels like time well spent. I'm not very much of a gamer, so the way the game eases you into everything is greatly appreciated.

    • Plateau is the tutorial basically, I stopped playing it and I should get my ass to finish it, the game is massiveernexbcn
    • I got the greenlight from 'her indoors' on getting one y'day. What other games should I get? I think Zelda will be fun for the eldest and I but anything goodfadein11

    • MarioKart - My 4 year old loves it - especially as you can use assisted steering and auto acceleration for the inexperienced players.. means she can play...dee-dubs

    • Good luck with the korok seeds. Dem's near impossibru to find 'em all. I did find all the shrines and armor sets though and that was pretty satisfyingSteveJobs
    • recently started over and turned off the hud and i'm avoiding the towers to keep the map hidden. forces me to just explore more naturally and freshens the game.SteveJobs
    • I almost wish i'd done it this way the first time to keep the scale of the game big, as maps seem to 'shrink' the world in your mind. well, mine anyway.SteveJobs
    • cool but do you know where I can find a Vectrex?since1979

    • I held off from finishing it, like an epic amount of hours in --- though regret it a little as it kinda of runs out of steam.inteliboy
    • Though finally getting to the castle was an instant reminder why the game is incredible.inteliboy
    • I finally ventured out of the plateau after getting the 4 orbs and the glider. I feel so unprepared, and I'm running out of weapons so fast.monospaced
    • ^ it actually gets much easier over timeCygnusZero4
    • I took the advice from you guys who finished it and I turned off the Pro HUD and just went out. I'm definitely off the intended path but I love it!!!monospaced
