Show us an example of what you are looking for. If it's a triangulated person, it'll be different than a projection in 3D.
In 3D you can map the photo onto your object and voila. You can also use a light to project it on something, but that will be more of a pain.
It really depends on what you are looking for as an end result.
- i try to find an example, and yes it is more like mapping or projecting the image into each each triangular facet. The effect is not Delaunay Triangulation.utopian
