All Apple has to do is pick 3-4 current video cards, toss them into a fucking Mac or two, license the fucking drivers, and be done with this nonsense once and for all. I know 11-year olds that can do this.
- of course, they're probably working on their own Apple-only device, which will be late to the game, over hyped and very expensive, requiring a new Mac for suremonospaced
- They are working on the new iMacssted
- What is working on the new iMacs?monospaced
- Apple :)sted

- Of course they are. Unless they decide to put a quality, modern GPU in them though, that's missing the point.monospaced
- I know. Apple can fuck right off. They could have Nvidia drivers pumped out in a week if they wanted to. They could support Razer Cores, and all that shit.section_014
- But, they won't.section_014
- It's mind boggling their refusal to do so. Why the fuck are they so scared people will be able to tinker with their machines anyway?monospaced
- I have some parts in my desktop machine what are 20 years old, that's why. (nothing serious just the chasis). power supply is 5, mainboard 3, cpu and memory 2sted
- one of the hdds is 5, gfx cards are the latest. so that's a reason why.sted
- and the other one is that apple doesn't wants you hack the hardware in any ways, and that's part of their "trusted computing" doctrinested
- which brings us full circle: Apple needs to AT LEAST put new GPUs in their closed machinesmonospaced
