I wear these motorcycle boots by TCX. They feel like sneakers but have great anke protection.

For gloves look for deer or kangaroo leather as they'll give ethe most protection. Icon and alpinestars make some great street gloves with knuckle protection.

Don't skimp on a good full face helmet. Sure a 3/4 is open and cool looking but the first time you go down you'll be damn glad your chin was protected. Also, riding in the rain sucks as it'll feel like you're being pelted by nails and you'll be glad you invested in something with a visor. I wear a Bell RS-1 on both the street and the track. I also recommend the shoei rf1200

    Hope this helps

    • < what he said! Also on helmet fit, don't just go for the one that looks cool. Get a good fit. I really wanted Aria but the fit wasn't right :(ShaneHolley
