    in your cover letter you can state you are looking for a "Competitive Salary" but if you cant have a 2nd interview, bring it up when your interviewer asks if you have any questions, you can discuss your needs with salary and bonuses and contract by year or indefinite full time hire, vacation time.

    even if you actually get a company handbook that states all the above in their general form, you need to address your needs to your interviewer.

    but if you can have a 2nd interview where you can be more calm and address your needs then do it then.
