Ok he didn't change the constitution, but he did something constitutionally unique in becoming the prime minister after being the president. A highly dubious and bizzare move

    He invaded Georgia

Bush had a crack at Iraq, which was just plain stupid, but Putin seems more calculated somehow. Like he's getting his own back and tiying up gas supplies to Europe. Wait thats kind of what Bush did, but at least he's off.... Putin's going no where.

Not to add to that, assassinations in London, Oligarchs legging it to London, Ukrainian presidential poisoning, Vetoing anything that move in the UN. Claiming sea beds in international waters. Just smacks of someone on the brink of despotism.

hey just my opinion, not trying to pursuade anyone otherwise. but the EU leadership aren't happy:

    Some quotes:

    "
"Europe is dependent on Russian energy supplies and the summit did not support stronger action that the Georgians had urged, such as a threat to expel Russia from international bodies like the G8, or warning the EU could boycott the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in southern Russia. "

"By EU standards it was a fairly effective public demonstration of unity. And the EU countries agreed too, for the umpteenth time, that they must pull together an effective common energy policy that makes them less dependent on a Russia which currently supplies 40 per cent of their gas and a third of their oil."

"Rather, the eastern Europeans are drawing on their experience of Soviet behaviour to alert their western European partners to the need to respond firmly when Russia crosses the line, as all EU countries say it has done in Georgia. Their alarm is understandable because Georgia is part of the same former sphere of Russian control to which they once belonged. “Who will be next?” they are thinking."

    and finally today:

"Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said Moscow would not ignore the build-up of NATO naval forces in the Black Sea, but would respond calmly, Russian news agencies quoted him as saying on Tuesday.

'The reaction will be calm, without any hysterics. But of course there will be a response,' "

Anyway, commie bastards are on the march again...
