Mac Laptop Rental Sep 2, 08, 1:01 a.m.

I need to rent a laptop for a week. I leave tomorrow to San Francisco from San Diego and I need a Mac laptop with the main adobe programs (ps, ai,id)

Any ideas where I can get a rental or how much it will cost? I can swing by OC or LA to pick up.

I know I'm cutting it super close, this trip is a last min. thing.

Trip to Spain May 9, 08, 7:42 p.m.

Going to Spain on Monday to visit my friend, he lives in Sevilla.

Im gonna have some time to explore the city while hes at work. I will have my trusty 30D with me so picture taking is on the top of my list.

Any recommendations on things to check out, shoot, eat, experience, etc.

p.s. we also plan on heading out Portugal and other neighboring places.

Whats this???? another freelance thread!!!

I have the opportunity to do some freelance work for a company out side the U.S. I really dont know how to go about doing this.

- What are the things I need to look out for?
- What rights do I have if something goes wrong?
- Are my contracts still valid?
- Whats the best way to get paid?
- How will I be taxed and how do I go about reporting it?

Thats about all I can think of right now...

Any advice is appreciated.

Listening material while designing Mar 17, 08, 8:36 p.m.

Looking for recommendations on things to listen to while I design.

I really like the TED stuff and some of the Design Matters stuff.

It doesn't even have to be design related. Just something for my brain absorb and play with.

Music is welcome but im definitely more into informative and inspirational material.
