For the consultants out there, do you guys have any contracts with your clients?

My 6-month full-time gig will be coming to an end soon. It's been a daily thing with no contract. And we're talking about extending this for another 6 months.

And I'd like to put it in writing - as I'm helping them with new business pitches currently as well.

Should I approach them with something drafted? Any suggestions are much appreciated.

I know most of us like the Dell Ultrasharps for design and graphics, but apparently they have a 6ms response time? Anything out there that has a faster time and still retains a high picture quality?

I don't believe. I live and work in NY and I have yet to actually see anyone using anything other than an iPad.

Where are all these supposed Android tablets? Are they used more in business and IT, not consumer?

Why is that most females have such a hard time engaging in movies by directors like Aronofsky, Kubrick, Von Trier, Lynch, etc. Like most of here, I love movies that make are challenging and thought-provoking, yet still entertaining.

I love my collection of Criterion films, but the GF doesn't want to, scratch that, can not watch them with me. I think I'm going to break up with her for this reason.

Bring on the quasi-misogynistic (or full-on sexist if you'd like) commentary. Or feel free to prove otherwise.

Any suggestions for a print designer/photographer on setting up an online shop for prints? I know there a lot of these already, just want to give it try. (Or should I not even bother?)

Been using a Wacom tablet for years now, but have never really found an ergonomic way to use both the tablet and keyboard (needed for shortcuts).

I do both, depending on the client. But I mostly do print.

I primarily say "disciplines", but I'm not sure it's a good word for clients.

I'm probably the one person that feels this way, but I just don't get online multiplayer games like Halo and COD. I'm actually pretty good for a noob, but after a few minutes, I get bored. It's just run and gun or camping for the most part.
I don't get how some guys can get lost in these games for hours.

And it doesn't really matter what the concept is. That's the bad part.

I prefer well-done campaigns. A decent plot helps too.

does anyone have any experience with a 3G card for their Apple laptop, for international travel?
I'm traveling to a couple of Asian countries for about a month and need to have some internet access wherever I go (work email).

The websites for ATT, Verizon, and Tmobile are horrendous. I don't know if it's a lack of service or bad information design, but America sucks when it comes to mobile IT.
