Guy, you have to get off your asses and go see the best movie of the year called "Apocalypto" -- you will see wonders you haven't seen in so long (costumes, make-up, art direction). If you even lost hope in movies this film will bring back your amazement for the medium and storytelling. GO SEE IT!!

So i waited long to do my taxes this year, and finally did them yesterday. I calculated what i made and how much it costed me to make it. At the end it looked like i made $1000 (yes, you read it right after subtracting the money needed to to make it i ended up with $1000). ....And my accountant tells me i'll have to pay taxes on it. WHAT!?! I'm stunned, i'm suppose to pay taxes? On what? Don't the people who came up with the rules to calculate this shit know that from that $1000 i have to pay my yearly rent, utilities and food???

Economy of debt, i finally understand what they mean by it, they calculate the tax in such a way that there is no other way but for you to go into credit card debt. NO i have nothing against paying taxes but i have a HUBE beef with the way those taxes are calculated.

so after looking with envy at my bro's lighting fast machine (PC) and my friend's ultra fast Mac i decided it's time to retire my old machine (PC) and get a new one. So i ask my bro how much a machine like his would cost -- about $600 (plus $100 for him to put it together) when u buy it on newegg.com. U gotta be shiting me, that little for that amount of power? Anyway then out of curiosity i go to apple's website and configure similar desktop and the price tag comes to $3550. WHAT? What am i paying the extra 3k for?

(and don't tell me it's for that pretty new case cause you can get so much ass for the 3k you save that you won't know what to do with)

My 22 year old brother got himself an 18-yearl old gf. I first thought great for him until i realised how stupid 18 year olds can be. God. Now thise assholes blast the music really loud while having sex. Damn, this music is so bad (i'm sure her choice) that i would be ashamed to even attempt to download it from Kazaa less basting it through teh speakers. Now the worst part is that they do it at 10 in the morning while i usually have to woirk untril 4-5am... I have to have a little chat with this dumbass. They try to pull off such stunt one more time and i'm marching into his room and turn that shit off.

We are looking for a junior designer or a talented student to design a logo and a header of a film website.

I just shot a low budget feature for a friend of mine and it looks awsome however the money run out and there is no real $$$ to pay for the logo (thus we are looking for a student of someone who wouldn't mind working for credit/fame alone). The film is full of hot babes and is damn funny (even though one of the more-no-budget productions i have worked on it's also one of the funniest). So it might actually go somewhere.

I'm the last person who would ask for stuff for free howevere sometimes there is simply no other way at this moment even the ditor is working for credit only.

So yeah if interested fire away your emeails to me.

So i don't have much to complain about my neighborhood (Ridgewood, Queens -- along the L line). Nice, quiet, relatively clean, relatively safe. Lots of various stores if i need to get anything done, only 20 min away from Union Square, cheap (my rent is only $420 for 2 rooms -- though i was living here 10 years)... blah blah... But when i walk down the street i only see but ugly girls. No only the hood is "too cheap" to have any decent restaurants or any bars those few that we have are occupied by such ugly girls... I mean some of it might have to do that it's mostly Eastern Europeans (i'm Eastern European too) thus i'm not really attracted to them, or that the rest is ghetto Latinas -- nice but too ghetto and too pregnant by the time they reach adulthood.

If only i told u the amount of time i envied the peps living in Williamsburg or Lower East Side -- i mean with that amount of honeys u guy have to be getting ass like every other day. Damn, a simple stroll to get morning tea u might end up with something sweet in your bed.

So if you ever though you were paying too much for your rent... think again.

(i haven't been shooting the past 2 weeks, so no sugar too...)

so things are better then ever. I just got an uber cool gig to shoot half-mil HD feature in August. Then i was talking to a producer friend of mine and he's like then why don't you shoot our feature in october as well -- the other feature with 1 mil budget.... Shit! At 25 to DP movies with such budgets, that's like wining the lottery!!!
