Die Cut Boxes Dec 15, 08, 9:37 p.m.

Hello fellow QBN'ers...

Please help me. There was an img or file (vector I hope) that was listed here that had about 10 or 20 different die cut box designs on one page and also had a model of what each box looked like (folded) next to each die cut..

But I can't remember where is was, or what it was called.. I've already tried search for over an hour. Does anyone remember this? The boxes were also coloured etc. - it was pretty nice.

It hit me today that this year is almost at an end, and I was wondering what major styles/things have affected the design and creative industry/community for 2008?

And also, what do you think 2009 will bring? what to expect? do you know of anything that will change the way we work? emerging technologies? what should I be learning or doing to get myself ahead?

for me:

2008:
- "web 2.0" design
- project management/collaboration tools
- Pantone's GOE (not really affecting the industry yet tho)

2009:
- greater demand for design on portable devices? (ie iphone)
- Mimosa? (shade of yellow - http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081…)
- engaging more social networking platforms & technology (twitter etc.) for marketing etc.?
- more designers going freelance?
- death of Silverlight?
