Layed off! After 3.5 years with a smaller sized agency. Horseshit. a bit shocked, but that's business. oh man, should've seen it coming with the slowdown.

Oh well, I thought I'd post here and maybe get some pity. Two weeks of severance, I need to gather my projects and make a book. After this beer, of course.

Does anyone know of any good tutorials, instructions or have advice on building a lightbox for screenprinting from scratch? Thinking this will be about 30" x 25".

What are some interesting and purposeful things you do at your agency to keep people motivated and/or expand the company's profile? I'm talking bigger things like side projects, events, talks etc. and smaller things like videogames and book racks.

How would I go about making one single linear line, like this:

in illustrator? Keep in mind we would want all lines/angles to be equally spaced. I thought you could just use the pen tool and keyboard arrows for this but I cant figure out the right shortcuts for anchoring points and continuing the line. Thanks. and Merry Christmas!

can anyone recommend a font that is similar to gotham (bold caps), but has serifs? I know it's a long shot, but if you know any alternatives that would be just super.
