synopsis:
Earth has been ravaged by an alien race seemingly determined to destroy humanity. Seventy years later, Earth is banded together to prevent their own annihilation from a technologically superior alien species. Firaxis (Civilization fame) is making a remake of the classic original (UFO Unknown) and in my mind, if anyone knows real time strategy, it's Firaxis. (altho this is a turn based title) a classic remake that's bound to challenge any arm chair general.

I've been tracking NASA's Mars Science Laboratory Mission for some time. Intrigued of mission's complexity which possesses all the ingredients of boldness and hope.

a little side note: NASA took requests to send your name to Mars. (via web form) The names were etched on a microchip inside the Curiosity rover which will be carried on its "back".

Mozilla and WebKit platform Q. Jan 10, 11, 9:27 a.m.

So i made a text mask with a background image moving behind it . All done in css/webkit. I did this kind of quickly because it was a perfect method and i was excited. (without realizing the Mozilla support issues.)

so my question is three part: Are there alternatives or workarounds to supporting firefox with webkit usage? if no, Can i use one framwork on all browser engines? also an jquery do this, even on mobile devices?

and one last Q, if i use Gecko wont i run into the same problem? but with chrome/safari support?

is it possible to have a pdf open only once and then lock itself or delete itself.. ?

in this case. i need to get media usage rights. the image owner wants to see the format.(pdf) client wants to retain control of said media.

so i'm looking into self closing/locking pdf options.

any ideas?
