So I had 2 short term contracts come in last week from different agencies, seeing as there short term I work on a first come first served bases. So I agree on the first contract that get's to me, and agree to start on Monday, this then get's pushed back to Wensday, and today I find that the contract has fallen through, I have now lost almost £2k in revenue, and lost the other contract.

I just do not understand how these agencies can contact you to say the work is there with a start date, for them to then get back to you and say that there still negotiating on price and there has been a problem. I'm just a littel bit pissed off right now.

I seem to have a font problem with the Chrome browser, I'm using the Google Web Fonts and it's gone just a little crazy, but this problem is only showing up in Chrome. I'm not to sure where to start looking to fix the issue, code, local fonts, browser.

So I am doing a quick course on HTML5. the new tag system for Nav, and Header and so on, these element s are not block level correct, so are they classed as inline tags, and if so i'm right in thinking to add style to these new element you will have to make them block elements.

I seem to be getting a Frame Border from my domain name which is being forwarded to my web space, I have looked at the frame tag from the domain name host and they have set the frame border to 0 "frameborder="0" so it should not be showing, is there anything I can do from my end to turn this border off.

Colour Shift PDF/X-1a Dec 16, 11, 3:58 a.m.

Morning

Quick question, Every time I convert my Art work from illustrator to PDF/X-1a I get a colour shift and the pdf is producing darker colours then expected, on screen, and when printed. I have setup bridge to use the same colours space for all Adobe Apps "Europe General purpose 3 - (FOGRA39)" so I'm not to sure why this is happening.

I got advise from my marketing assistant today on how to cut out a photoshop file to fit a Table based Email template, she then went on to adjust my Text layout for optimum spacing and read ability, as she explained the idea to me.

As for making the alteration to the design, I made the text bold and did sod all ells, she seemed to buy into the concept so that is what I'm going to do the next time she trys and fucks up a layout.

Everyday I have to work with a fucking 2 Faced Bitch from HELL, who does not know how to put a fucking website together to save her fucking life, she uses Indesign to design web pages, and wonders why she is having trouble moving her design 20 pixel to the fucking cunting left. And then she spend half the day with a developer asking stupid fucking question on padding and margin every fucking 5 minutes. How do these people get a job.
