What watch do you want or own?
QBN Best print designers. Aug 31, 08, 4:56 p.m.
My nominees for best print work without any specific order (mostly taken from the "show some recent work" thread). I thought it would be a good idea to talk about our "local" talents.
Ampersanderson, Rand, Concrete, Dancer, JerseyRaindog, Salisae and Stimuli.
Serious design issue. Jan 30, 05, 3:21 p.m.
Here is my attempt to spark an intelligent design related conversation.
Don't you think that we, designers, should lower the costs of our practice in order for the society to benefit from effective and affordable communication material?
Please discuss.

I really do not enjoy navigating that site. At an attempt to recreate a BBS atmosphere, in my opinion, it fails.
American Apparel Sep 30, 05, 9:37 a.m.
Good idea, bad product.
Leica D-lux 3 Jun 24, 08, 9:06 p.m.
Anyone owns one? If so, then is it worth it?
UK people? Feb 13, 08, 8:56 a.m.
Give me reasons to move to the UK. Where are the best places to live/work. Figuring out if I want to take a step in that direction. This is a serious question.

Felt soooo good!
Hockey players? Mar 11, 08, 10:14 p.m.
Who plays hockey here? Whats your choice of stick?
Design movements Dec 30, 04, 12:34 p.m.
Where do you think that design is going in your country?
For my part, living in Quebec, I must say that the majority of the stuff that comes out of the big studios (primarily in Montreal), is all clean and really typographic (Due to the amount of students comming out of the design program offered at the UQÀM - Universite du Quebec à Montréal). Everything kinda looks the same except for a few projects done by some studios and individuals. I'd love to see different stuff (like japanese or dutch influenced design) but the majority of people can't relate to that style.
Does a style have to stay in its "region" in order to be effective?
Discuss, please.

The Doves - Some Cities Mar 26, 08, 10:22 a.m.
Am I the only one who thinks the album "Some Cities" is one of the best recent pop rock album?
I can listen to this as much as "Heaven or Las Vegas" by Cocteau Twins without getting bored, wich is pretty incredible, because I've listened to that record ALOT.
Everything on "Some Cities" is great: the songs, the production, the sleeve design, etc. Its definitely a full package.
