I live on the first floor of a 2 story apartment complex in L.A. My roomate thinks the best plan of action in a big quake is to get out fast. I might agree w/ him if it weren't for the large overhanging bridge connecting the apartments above us. I've always been told you'll be safest under a sturdy table.

I'm been freelancing at this design studio for about 6 months now. The pay is so-so but they treat me good. However I just got offered a freelance gig at a top notch agency nearby. I think they want help with a pitch or something else short term. Should I ditch my current employer for a bit and then come back after a few weeks?

They always pay on time and treat me fair so I feel guilty about it. Otherwise I'd jump at the chance.

Is there any hope of getting the site to work on older (g4) macs or am I dreaming?

I know this topic has been discussed before, I was just wondering if there were any new techniques I could use.

If you guys do work for an agency thats working with a big client, do you list that client as one of your own?

For an example check out hyperprism.net The work they did for adidas was for Carat Fusion but they list Adidas as one of their clients.

I'm thinking of sending some work samples to a few large companies that I'd like to have as clients. Should I send my stuff to the marketing or creative director? Who's in charge of assigning work done outside the company?
