Just learned that a friend of my brothers got stabbed in Camden a few nights ago (nr the barfly). Nearly died, but is now stable.

Out of my brothers mates, this guy is by far my favourite. I'm always bumping into him at gigs where we usually deride my brother for not seeing the point in a mudhoney gig. I hope he pulls through.

I've got lists of web/graphic design agencies coming out of my ears, but these aren't the people I'm looking for. I guess I'm looking for "information architects" - but my limited experience of them has been that they're mostly a bunch of charlatans.

I saw the James Bond Sony one last night.

It's an interesting task they have to make a visual ad like that appear to be "hi definition" on my old CRT Aiwa television. Yet it seems to work.

It just because they do every matrix-style slow-mo that fools me?

So I'm planning a trip to Madagascar. Just rang my doctors to arrange an appointment to get about 7 different vaccinations and some anti-malarial drugs. The lady talked me through a few different malaria drugs and their side effects.

Fine.

Appointment at 9.30 on the 1st - fine.

Nurse's name will be Valerie. Except - when I'm writing this into my calendar app - I don't know how to spell "Valerie" - so I just stick in "valarie" and right-click it to get a spell-check. What's the first suggestion?
