Sending attachments in Mail 3.0 Jan 30, 08, 2:57 a.m.

Anybody else having issues sending out email attachments to PC's in Mac Mail 3.0?

Just upgraded, tried sending a .jpg attachment, windows friendly checked, always insert at the end of message checked. Still no joy.

Sends as an inline image, recipient PC user with XP and Outlook can only right click, save as a shitey quality .bmp. Not much use really.

Anybody find a consistently safe way that doesn't involve zipping stuff? Many thanks.
