hey y'all

first of all im a print designer with limited web knowledge! however, a possible client is asking about also doing a website. he is an architect and wants a simple look website but with what seems a reasonably complex system behind it. He would like something in the lines of these 2 (below) in terms of content complexity and content separation but also wants stuff like the user to be able to order the projects by date or type, being able to add some stuff by himself etc and some other things. What i'm asking you is, based on my very vague description and these 2 sites as an example, what sort of background system would need to be developed and implemented to make this sort of thing happen? i just don't know what i would be looking for in terms of programming and web development! Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Ok, listening to music right now and out of the blue my audio has stopped working. I'm using my internal speakers on my PB G4, but i went to check on sys prefs and it says that the output is for headphones and doesn't let me change this! What can i do? Google goes for something with Utilities/Audio-Midi-setup but it still doesn't let me change to internal speakers.

Any help? thanks

I need to get a better file system down. Between different studios and colleagues, the file organization methods used differ greatly and each has their benefits. I want to get a good system for myself to use outside work. Anyone got some useful insights into this?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the following: Even though I respect your personal choice for blogging about whatever you want to (and yes i see the press coverage this site has recieved), I don't see a point for taking pictures of garbage, every night. I already have to pass by the heaps of it everyday, and the smell and nasty sight sometimes, why would I want to see pictures of it? True there are some pretty bizarre and random things to be found in the garbage, but still...
