Decorating the home, and I'm looking to support the arts by picking up some well-made posters and/or other wall art. Letterpress, strong design, smart imagery and quality craftsmanship desired. I'd consider paintings among my choices as well, if they're honest, affordable and not too pretentious.

I'm a minor OK Go fan, more or less due to their clever videos. And when I heard that they did a rendition of The Muppets theme song on the upcoming "Muppets: The Green Album", I was curious.

But then when I found myself at NPR listening to the album (which is as hit and miss as you'd expect), I came across this image of the band with Kermit:

Perhaps it's just me—I can be easily annoyed by band photos since I deal with them almost daily—but of all the times when a person should be smiling, it's when you're taking a picture with the one and only Kermit the Frog.

Must be the weight of his swashbuckling beard and mustache, or the burden of his glasses, or perhaps the Greek fisherman's cap that's weighing down his overall sense of happiness.

Or perhaps we just can't see his happy feet.

I don't expect most of you mouse jockeys to have an answer, but what the heck...

I'm looking for a good resource for a box of Hi-Tec-C pens. Not the basic Pilot versions you get in the states—I need the real deal you get from Japan...like this:

Bought a couple of boxes of these when I was working there, but that was almost 10 years ago, and my last one ran out.

0.25, 0.3 or 0.4 mm are all acceptable.

Any help?

Or, if anyone has any advice on a US-based replacement, I'd be happy to give one a test-drive.

I'm in the middle of educating my non-designer supervisors (MBAs, PhDs, etc) on the difference between something being deemed "bad work" and "a difference of opinion."

Anyone got any good examples of subjective vs. objective differences in terms of Creative Direction?

Looking for a good sampling of contemporary and vintage hip hop style and design. Not just no-lace Adidas Originals, Gazelles and 80s album covers—that's obvious. But also a collection of where the visuals have gone since then.

Just went over the latest updates to both the GOP and DNC websites, and I can't help but think that both parties have their heads screwed on wrong (as usual).
