so i made a 70 page pdf from pdfs exported from illustrator, but my multipage pdf is about 70 MBs. even when i do the reduce file size. anybody have any tricks to get this down? has to be a way......

so i've been making buttons from the same group of mcs by using the name.slice. i have a different word on different frames with this code:

gotoAndStop(_parent._parent._nam...

so that my instance names define frame is shown on the button. the issue is now i have more than 10 fames, so after frame 9 it goes back to 1 because it is only slicing 1 number...can't deal with double digits. anybody know a fix? i think it involves a substring, but i'm not that great an actionscripter....any help would be appreciated...

i am very new to this so please bear with my naivity. i have cut some video in iMovie and need to do some post work in after effects. is there any way that i can not compress the video before bringing it into AE? or if i have to bring in an MPEG to AE, is there anyway to not compress on export from AE? sorry if this does not make any sense, but just seems that there is alot of extra compression going on.... thanks folks,

i am looking to get a larger montior for my powerbook and wondering if you could have the external monitor be the only monitor? meaning you could keep the laptop closed and use a bluetooth keyboard, tablet and the display? anybody know if this is possible? i guess you could not close the laptop all the way, but you know what i mean....
