Why oh why would you make a site in window that resizes halfway between my two screens?!

The female of the species

Looking for a few ideas for "other" things to do with the missus as going to the pub, cinema etc are a bit boring. What crazy, inspired ideas do you have for a good night out?

Thanks for posting them thinkmule, I always thought you had to have some artistic talent to do them but it would appear not! haha!

things to do in America

well, more specifically in and around Charleston. I'm off on my holidays in may and was wondering what I can do to fill my time while I'm there with the missus.

We'll have a hire car and don't mind driving a couple of hours in the surrounding area.

Cheers.

Do they think people will believe that might happen?

Come off it, I'm sick of the whole terrorism thing at the best of times, I'm more worried about losing my job or running out of rice crispies.

If power prices keep rising as they are, nuclear seems a reasonable alternative to me.

Consult/The Face

I'm really interested in this ongoing "saga" as it seems to be nothing more than some self promotion from someone at Consult.

A panel of self styled industry experts (aka, nt posters) established that the two sites in question weren't as similar as a dramatic post last week led us to believe so what's the deal, what was said, did the consult turn up with baseball bats and tell the Face that black is in fact something that can't be copied?

Surely that will be next month and not tonight?

< london flat

like the million$ homepage, genius idea!

Mostly because it's an obviously simple licence to print money. You either get enough money for the flat value and sell it quickly or if it's not met, you give away half the cash and keep the rest.

I'm slowly but surely finding my faith in the internet as a place where people occasionally have brilliant ideas again!

Is it just me...?

or does referring to your own website as a portfolio item in the third person and then linking to your own website seem a little unorthadox?

Is there something personal there? Doesn't seem like it's much more than similar fontage and colours.

Dear designers:

Design note:

When building your nice websites, please, please, please do not forget under any circumstances to set a background colour for the body of your site in your css.

I'm by no means picking on anyone or anything but as someone who has their windows background set to grey instead of white, if you don't set the body bg colour, your site shows up in whatever colour my (or anyone else using non-white windows schemes) computer is using and therefore looks a bit toss.

An example of this would be the otherwise lovely looking Patagonia site:

Just thought I'd mention it :)
