I went back through all threads to find "Scary Cool Tech Thread" in order to post an excellent article about "Researchers develop new plastics that 'bleed' and heal like human skin" and found nothing.

It seems after x amount of time, threads are deleted; curious as to why this is?

Greeting from the North...

Working on a new site for my girl & I and trying to solve a javascript issues.

I have a div that is 100% height with a div inside set to overflow-y: auto; (so scrollbars are automatic on smaller monitors/mobile).

However, I have a menu of 120px sitting at the bottom at all times. So I need to take the 100% height element and subtract 120px from it; I guess this would change as well on window resize?

Possible?

Simple?

Hey gang, hope all is well & good on this October afternoon (EST).

I know their are a massive amount of address shorteners out their (I still use bit.ly), but I cannot seem to resolve shortening an email address.

I've tried to simply shorten "mailto:name@address.com" but get "Server Error" across the board...

& I've located something like http://scr.im/, but it requires an action on each users part to "verify" they aren't bots or whateva'...

Surely, their must be a way to do this; I am working on a new site with a small div that displays upcoming events and associated contact emails but they seem to be too wide for the aforementioned div...

All relevant (& irrelevant) solutions, thoughts & the like are appreciated (as always)...

Trying my darndest to add iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch single finger "swipe" functionality to div's containing information, photos, etc. but have yet to find a complete (& possibly minimal) solution other than by using jquery -> http://www.netcu.de/jquery-touch… but it doesn't feel very smooth/natural...
