A friend-photographer wants a simple and quick way to show his new work without the need for a custom website. He doesn't want anything like Flickr, but something much more simple. He must be able to upload his work and only has a very basic knowledge of Photoshop..

I have a quite basic as3 question. In a for-loop I would like to pass a variable to each movieclip I attach:

for (var i:int=0; i<5; i++) {
var item = navClip.addChild(new asset_navbut());
// now in actionscript 2 I would have done something like this:
item.myX = i*15

}

Any ideas how to do this in as3?

Is there any way to load an swf the same way as you would load an MP3 into flash (ie with streaming)?

I have an swf with an embedded sound on the timeline and I would would like to load it with streaming..
