So iPad mini shrinks most website to fit its 163ppi browser.

But some sites and blogs like haw-lin.com do not shrink and just display like a small browser would. Is the reason just because of the limited structure in the coding?

The iPad mini is really only 452 ppi wide at screen resolution?

I watched some of AMC's The Pitch and it got me wondering why companies choose these places over real graphic design studios and agencies? And why some of these places call themselves advertising when they don't have huge clients or even make TV commercials.

Is it because these clients don't know better, or because they're distracted by words like "strategy"?

Some of the agencies on the show are pretty bad and their work isn't very well designed.

Is the client always right in the end?

If you design something with carefully chosen colors and the client doesn't like it and wants an ugly pastel combo instead, do you just agree?

If they want to don't like the typeface selected and suggest another freeware one they use sometimes, and you send examples of both, and they still choose theirs, do you just comply?

At the end of the day, should we just be content with our friends and family and not worry if strangers think otherwise?
