Anyone purchasing any ebooks for their ipad?

I'd like to start buying digital books instead of collecting piles of paper.

Apple seems to be charging full price (vs. Amazon and Google's regular 30%), which is just ridiculous (should be cheaper, given no printing costs).

Anyone have experience buying/uploading?

I am particularly interested in photography books (so lots of color).

[I would think most software would do this, but I am locked into Momeo, which has 0 flexibility]

I just got a new Seagate drive not realizing that they've gotten rid of the software that came with Maxtor drives (for FREE) and worked well.

Memeo is horrible, not allowing you to schedule backups and seemingly unreliable.

Anyone have any good software suggestions for backup software? (PC)
