I'm completly fed up with my current job ; 55hrs/week (for a 35contract), can't sleep or enjoy any day off because of the stress... after 3years I can't keep living that way.. even though about finding any other job (I mean no more grahpic design thing)...
Should I quit and search for a better place? Or Start freelancing? Knowing I haven't got any client list nor job offer?

I need some help from you :

I'd need to know where this shot takes place (picture has been bought and 3d is nearly done.. no way I restart from a new picture) so I could manage to find some other picture of the same place and photoshop my original file to add missing parts of the bottom buildings.

it seems like I'm now entering a middle life crisis, or maybe getting close to burn-out and wanting some change in my life...
I'm planning to quit my job to follow my girlfriend in Singapore and start freelance again.
For the moment I mainly do vector illustrations, logos and photoshop illustrations for adverts.

I'd like to extend a bit my skills...
Would you :
-learn html/flash/css/xml/etc... knowing you always have been pretty bad in mathematics&science?
-learn photography from the beginning?
-learn video from the beginning?
-go back to drawing, knowing you had some skills, but were only average/good?
-learn 3D, knowing you have some knowledge but still pretty basic?

I'm speaking of being "good", not just being able to handle some of these skills when clients ask for.

Am i the only one going crazy with his dad's computer? I'm on holiday, trying to print a a picture on an A4.... dealing with 50windows suddenly opening ( from shareware/freeware), picasa, paint shop pro trial version etc.... and finally got 1/4 of my picture printed at 400%......

I noticed there only a few jobs outside US on krop.
Is this your fact? I mean you maybe want to concentrate you effort on the US employment market only.
Or it is because of something else, like a lack of opportunity in europe? Or the fact that angencies don't communicate much about their needs?

As US is very restrictive for foreigners nowdays, it would be nice to have some more carrer offer in europe for example.

diplomas - translation Feb 4, 08, 6:10 p.m.

Applying for a job in USA, and needing a work visa, I have to get my diplomas translated, and I also have to show some equivalence between my France/US diplomas.

I guess some of you have already experienced that problem.
