Type in Photoshop CS6 Apr 23, 13, 11:31 a.m.

Recently upgraded and have stumbled upon something a bit odd.

I have some type set at 43pt:

Just below it I have more type which, apparently, is also set at 43pt?

When I first click on the lower text, it states that it's 77pt (which sounds/looks right) but as soon as I move the cursor the value changes to 43pt.

Is this a new "feature" in CS6?

Any advice appreciated.

Don't suppose there is a way to make Save for Web save files to the original folder by default - similar to how Save As does - instead of to the last folder saved to.

A while back I remember seeing that some company/agency/studio had set up and designed a system for displaying random data/info on a display on their office wall. If I remember correctly it had things like weather, train schedule, tweets, "pixels pushed", probably other quantitative data.

Anyone remember seeing this?

I'll be heading to London for about 2 weeks this Thursday and plan on going to Amsterdam for a few of those days. Question to all the film/video people on here, and to those who just may know about it.

I'm trying to gather images of various cameras (preferably profile images), both film and digital, to use as reference for illustrations. Other than what I've learned in the past day, this is an industry I know nothing about. I was hoping someone may be able to provide some resources, be it manufacturers, blogs/sites, well known cameras makes/models - just things I should check out that I may not come across otherwise.

I've been looking at companies/sites like:

Aaton, RED, ARRI, Panavision, Sony, Panasonic, HD Magazine etc.

For those who don't know, I would say what Nike+ is for running, Strava is to cycling - you can use an iPhone or a traditional cycling computer to track/share data.

Question for all of you prescription glasses wearers. But first, some backstory.

So I haven't worn glasses in a couple years. My vision isn't terrible but I do have astigmatism and have noticed my eyes feeling more tired than usual. I went to an optometrist, got an exam and got some glasses. After wearing them for a while I noticed something was off, it appeared as if everything on the left side was a bit skewed - I noticed this the most when looking at the computer screen.

Something like this:

I went back to the optometrist - different guy this time - told him what was up and got another eye exam. He said my left eye took on a bit more astigmatism since the initial exam and that could have been why. I tried out some new lenses and everything seemed good.

I got my replacement glasses in the mail last night and the same shit is happening again.

In the times that I've had glasses before I've never experienced anything like this. Just wondering if something similar has happened to anyone.
