I need some advice on how one would set up a partnership with a few people.

My main issue is how do you determine how revenue is split.

what happens when a project(s) only requires some of the partners and not all?

does anybody have a model in place that has worked?

I am working on a project where we are sourcing products from Asia (China, Thailand and Vietnam).

The products are made with different colors of threads and we want very specific pantone colors for each string used. Most of the people Im talking too either don't know pantone or use the pantone website to get close (which of course is always off) or use their own color system.

I could of course send over a pantone book but they are expensive and we are sourcing from 20-30 different places.

My question is... Does anyone have any idea how I can create color sheet with 30-40 colors? Any other ideas how to communicate overseas about color? Do other countries use other color systems we could convert too that would make it easier?
