It says it has had 25,000 patents granted worldwide.

The starting salary at its Shenzhen plant - which employs the bulk of its workers - is 1,800 yuan (293.51 US Dollar), compared with a minimum wage of 1,500 yuan in the city.

keynote/final cut question

hey guys... need some help.

making a presentation/video... using final cut x.

i export my keynote slides as images, synch to the audio and normally the text looks fine.

For some reason the text is looking all fucked up... like like back in the day with flash... how fonts looked all fucked up, same thing.

i tried exporting as png, then as tiffs but still having the same issue.

Anyone know how to fix this?

identify artist...

this painting/print (ink on paper) at a local dealer/friend has been on my wishlist since i saw it last year, but it's priced well outside of what i should be spending on art.

they're trying to get rid of a lot of their stock and this is on the list. can anyone help identify the artist or origin perhaps?

the photo doesn't do it justice. the detail and colour is amazing.

24 year old Ogilvy China employee dies from 'overwork'

as per my fb post, in brisbane, we don't work nearly this hard. but surely the culture and expectation is there. sad thing is that people in advertising don't speak up.

Best responsive long scrolling sites?

Looking for new, best examples of web design.

Clean, long-scrolling, responsive. Can be interactive studios' pages as well.

Thanks!
