OK I'm opening myself up here for some abuse...

I've never been much of a logo designer but on a whim of inspiration I've tweaked my own logo as a work in progress :

or with the star :

Sort of thinking friendly and bubbly, and i think the letter spacing is a little off.

I considered tweaking the star version to have the tail of the 'S' come into the bottom to create a flower.... not sure...

my gf says that it looks like a 'surf shop log with chicks for free'
