On the hunt for a freelance Ruby developer, preferably UK-based, to join a startup.

The site is about to launch after 6 months of Agile fun. There are currently 3 on the team.

It could well be full-time but depends on who, skills, situation etc. I will be spamming the usual channels but thought I'd ask on here as well.

Stepping back seems to be the thing none of them can do.

I do some remote work for a company on a contract basis and now they are opening an office near where I live.

They are suggesting I put my own equipment/setup into the new office to work on. I'll still be contracting.

Sounds odd to me. Anyone ever been asked to supply their own kit to work in a company?

Bit of a vague one, but I'm trying to track down a lost link to this bloke's work. It was posted on here a couple of years ago.

It was basically a showreel of fancy (but probably meaningless) UIs and applications used by characters in various big budget movies.
