I would like to simulate the text you see when you regular tv with captions, not the ones on a movie for example.

The difference is that (depending on the tv) the majority has a black rectangle behind the letters, since I have to type a lot of crap, I was wondering if anyone knew how to achieve this directly in after effects.

So the rectangle behind the type, adapts to the content, not sure if I'm being clear enough..

It was all ready to go, all files ready to upload and I can move to something else...

We were going to use print1000.com
Just before we were going to upload the files, (and once we ordered the second component for the project) they decided to crank up the price from $400 to $1100.

Anyone knows of a printer that can do circular diecuts (hopefully on-line) or in california for fairly cheap?

So I'm doing this invites that will look like records.

I need to prepare the file to do the grooves on the actual record, right now, it looks like this:

So what I did is:
1) Make a circle then using the Scale Tool (S)

2) I scaled down the size a bit, holding Shift + Option to duplicate in smaller size.

3) Command + D to repeat last action several times.

I don't like the results, it feels like the closer the grooves get to the center of the record, the closer the space between each groove.

Anyone knows a way to get the exact same spacing between all the grooves?

I can't figure it out :(

Ok, I have this project to work on, and there is no time do it the way I would like to (w/ photographs) but I would still like to achieve the look.

I know its a far stretch and it won't be as real but close will be good enough. I exported the clip at 5fps, I added a flicker (which I'm not too happy with yet) and a bit of random movement to the camera.

Anyone has some tips to improve this?

Sorry if there was a thread about this earlier, I did a search and couldn't find one.

So here are mine:

I just got these 2 puppies, the second helicopter has no back seat (I only use it to so my sup pilot can carry my luggage.

The other one has standard seating, for me, the pilot and 2 (maybe 3 maids).

Color is not really accurate on the photo, the blue is a bit darker.
