My family is thinking of putting together a small book to remember my grandpa who passed away. I'm wondering where would be a good place to go for printing, and what program would be the best to use to design it (Quark, Indesign, Other)?

I'm rather new to print so any help would be appreciated.

For some reason flash wants to cut about 1 to 2 pixels off of my jpegs when they're exported. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Does anyone know of a tutorial, or can explain a method to create a scratchy looking realistic surface in Photoshop?

I've done it before by actually scribbling on paper but I was wondering if there was a better way.

I'm having trouble with some of my fonts. They look distorted since I've upgraded to Panther. Other people in the office have had similar problems when upgrading.

Any solutions?
