Just figured this out over the weekend and thought I would share. Their is porting software called Wineskin you can look this up yourself, and that allows you to take old games from PC software and then port it to play on an intel based mac. Now theirs a non-freebie version I also came by this weekend called Crossover games using the same technology to convert any old game you want. Anyone else use this software? fun stuff if your into some of your old games that cannot get to work any more.

Why are there so few USB mac wireless sticks that are from legit companies? Jul 30, 09, 4:13 p.m.

I just don't understand why Wireless-N is so un-supported by standard networking companies. Netgear, Belkin, Linksys none of them have a mac usb wireless-n stick in stores right now. It sucks but I had to go out on a limb and purchase a 3rd party networking device from afterthemac.com to set up our studio/home network because I didn't install a wireless card originally in one of the towers. I'll post how that brand works out.

On a side note I got one of those terabyte mac router/airport/server... pretty slick.

Mighty Mac mouses breaking left and right? anyone else? Feb 25, 09, 8:34 p.m.

Alright, I dunno if its just me but in the past year I've broken the springs on 3 mighty mac mouses in probably 1-6 months of using each one. Anyone else have a similar issue you know the mouse's their the white ones that look sleek. What I find happens is the spring sticks on the top right of each mouse that broke so you click and it continues to click a million times uncontrollably. Just curious if this happened to anyone else other than myself.

Ok just watching this tv show about Paris and how JCdeceaux upkeeps their velib cheap bike systems in return for advertising space throughout cities... I wonder if something like that should be made for major cities atleast in the warmer climates of america.

Going Freelance Full Time Dec 18, 08, 10:37 a.m.

As with many of you recently in these tough economic times I was let go from my full time position due to economic hardships and due to a ruthless economy that has affected many American’s.

Ironically that being said my girlfriend’s horoscope today was:

Excerpt on some concept ideas I had for the show:

"I hope they do CMYK: ATGD right ( and this is what I would do ): Create 4 studios, and take on real design project bids for the season (rfps). I don’t think they need to finish the projects just the bids for them, they could hire a production team for the show to assist in execution. Execution of the work could be done off air and online so that viewers of the show could see the content come to life and create a following for the artists/writers!.... There would be a secondary component to this format which would showcase individual quick fire rfp challenges. These individual challenges would add to the total amount won by the designer’s with their splits from the team challenges. The end result you get someone who is both a team player and profitable on solo projects. "

Anyone ever attempt to do a book? Oct 2, 08, 2:35 p.m.

I am just curious. I am starting to gather some illustrators, who I am all set with. And trying to pull together some writers, who I am still searching for to do a children's book. This is a personal project. I have never tried to do one of these before. But I'd love some advice from you the publishing experts about making a book for the first time.
