I have a Canon i9950 and I was wondering if there was any cost effective way to print wirelessly from my Mac?

I have seen Canon's Wireless Print Server WP-20 which seems a little excessive (£139). Could you not use bluetooth?

Laser Cutting (Print) Jan 28, 10, 10:50 a.m.

I am trying to spec a job (print) that could potentially have a Laser etched front cover.

My print reps have gone home and I am just trying to get a feel for this process.

I know that it can "burn" the paper or give dicolouration... would this happen on one side only?

How expensive is it? Does the cost run per unit or the more I do the less per unit it is.

Any insight would be great

Fu*king Excel (MAC) Jan 25, 10, 8:37 a.m.

I keep a spreadsheet of all my payments in, out, expenses on each project and due dates etc..

I have gone to open the file today and all the data is missing except my last entry. I do not have alot of experience with Excel so I could be missing something and hopefully I can retrieve the data

In the far left column with the line number in they are highlighted blue and they go from 1 straight to 36 (no digits inbetween)

Any help would be great

Looking for a font Jan 24, 10, 4:22 a.m.

I am looking for a font that was used by a UK agency called Wire Design. I am not expecting anyone to know this font but hopefully if I describe it someone will suggest a good alternative.

I am looking for something similar to courier but with alot more finesse and style/beauty. Alot thinner and generally quite feminine.

I have all my work backed up on an external Hardrive (Lacie 250). Now i know the life span of these things is not great and I was going to do a secondary back up onto DVD and was wondering if I could copy direct from my External HD direct (via USB) to a my laptop > DVD. ie without copying all the files back onto my laptop.

Anyone had any experience/known issues with this?

Sorry if this is really basic question but I have never had to do it and rarely deal with DNS records etc. I also thought it maybe useful for others that search around here.

I would like to set up subdomain.adance.co.uk

I know I need to adjust A, CNAME and TXT records for the domain adance.co.uk

Currently there is

Which I believe is the email?
www-----A----------123.345.567.7...
Which I believe is my website

Now for a sub domain would I have it as
subdmoain. ---CNAME-----123.345.567.789

Or something elase?

So. I have an idea.... dunno if it is possible but would be great if it were.

What I would like is a little app that is a stopwatch but starts when you open a job folder in FInder or a certain document, it then runs the stop watch until you close that document.

This way it can track time more exactly

Is this possible and has it been done?

I have a client who would like to send around a document to all employees with data collected from there website every month.

The data is outputted from their website every month as an Excel Spreadsheet.

Now with all this XML talk and stuff is it possible to input all the data automatically into tables created in Indesign?

Anyone have any experience or insight?

I have had a quick request from a client who wants to load a competition pop up on the front page. I was going to use something similar to Lightbox and landed at Lightwindow.

Now I have NO experience with JQuery as some of you may know.

2 things I need help with:
• All I need to do though is get this button to trigger when the WIndow loads (instead of clicking it).
• Make the image a Link to the competition.
