Anyone test this out in person? It's only available for pre-order so far. This seems great for situations where you'd use a Wacom or maybe some 3D free form modeling. Obviously gaming would work well with it. For under $100 I might give it a shot.

Animated Gif on a Mac May 19, 12, 4 a.m.

I used to be able to get a decent results with Photoshop CS5 but CS6 craps out slow playing gifs even if I set every frame to 0 seconds.

What are my alternatives. I'm not going to want to open CS5 every time I want to do this.

I'm surprised this is such a mystery but how can I add music to my old iPhone from a new computer? I authorized the phone on the new computer and seem to by syncing apps, contacts and calendars already. What gives?

Downloading MacOSX Lion May 12, 12, 1:01 p.m.

I'm in the App Store program (desktop version, of course) and clicked the price button which turns green and says Buy Now. I did that and it's just sitting there with no indication anything is downloading or where it's going (except the loading asterisk graphic at the top left).

Is this normal? I'd rather not try again and definitely get charged an additional $30.

Cinema 4D physical renderer Apr 24, 12, 12:42 p.m.

This only applies to version 13. Have you guys noticed how much the physical renderer kills your computer?
With physical render, just motion blur/medium setting took almost 20 minutes.

With standard rendering, the same thing took 24 seconds to render.

I'm on an iMac with 2.7 gHz quad Core i5, 8 gigabytes of RAM.

I duplicated this tutorial and the cloner objects collide on top of the topless box as if there was still a top to it instead of falling into the box the way it happens at the end of this tutorial. There seems to be a foolish default setting for the collider that it works this way ("bounding box" as opposed to "object") instead of the natural way you would expect the dynamics to work. (object) Please post the correct setting if anyone knows it.

Here's a simplified version of the problem I have. It's pretty obvious what's wrong even if I didn't just describe it.

Is there any way to use more than on particle in a Thinking Particles emitter?

I've tried this many ways for many hours. Here's my current setup. Obviously I'd like to use three. I have a cube as the third so it would be easy to see but I've had no luck.

Is it possible there really is no way to do it and I would have to do three renders? Seems pretty lame for C4D.

I've looked at several tutorials and built a quick rig three times now and at best can only move a basic biped from the waist down. (That's what she said) Most of the time, the binding completely fails. Has anyone had any luck? This would be a great feature for those of us who aren't rigging masters.

InDesign is supposed to retain your type formatting when you change your Clipboard Handling preferences to save "All information (index markers, swatches, styles, etc.)
