Mac photo archiving, iphoto etc Apr 4, 07, 1:29 p.m.

Can anyone reccommend a prog like iphoto or picassa or something. What I want is something that doesn't duplicate the originals just uses reference points. Also that will update itself as images are moved / changed. The other thing is that as I've uploaded pics from camera over years, the folders are just titled by date. I'd like each folder to be an image of what is within it - to make it easier to see without having to open the folder!
Any ideas?

I'm using this on imac 2gb ram 2.33 proc and it's sooo slow. Simple things like changing the font or it's size take probably 7 seconds to complete. Now 7 seconds isn't going to kill anyone but it's enough time to get p!ssed off in! Anyone having the same problem?

Well I'm almost sick of Dreamweaver for mac, it's better on the pc from what I can tell. The text in design view edit mode is so small I can't see it without temporarily enlarging it every time.
Does anyone recommend an editor I can use on mac? I'm no designer so WYSIWYG is best. I heard something about rapidweaver but am not sure?

Right. I'm using DW on mac after using it on PC for years, so bear with me!

On mac how do you:

a] show local HTML files in 'file' panel on right hand side, rather than using the f8 menu?

b] get the text in design mode to show up more than some crap minute size that the hubble telescope couldn't even see?

I sold my old monitor on ebay, Samsung flat screen 19". It has 1 dead pixel. I didn't mention the dead pixel, it's always had it since new. The condition was as new. 1 dead px surely isn't a big deal, is it? And I know manufacturers say 1 is acceptable. So the guy that bought it has filed a paypal claim against me. He says the monitor is defective due the the DP. He claims to have OCD and this DP is really making him hypo ventilate! Just thought I'd let you know. Please tell me I'm right and he's wrong, or I might hypo ventilate!

when I open a new tab and paste an address is, or type one and hit return / press go nothing happens. No loading action. However when I open a new window it all works. I don't want windows though I want tabs. Help!

Recommendations? FF is good because of extensions but slow. Safari good but no extensions, crap rss reader and a few other lacking elements. Camino I don't like and flock is rubbish! Please tell me there's more!!
