i work very slowly,
i don't always use shortcuts,
i sometimes choose style over substance,
i am thoroughly interested in typography though i currently know very little,
i like blackletter fonts,
i like things that are trendy,
i often like things that used to be trendy as i only just found out about them,
i genuinely enjoy a few of the people on this board.

as some of you (mostly the blog) may know i am getting married next year.

we don't really have a song, and we have to pick one for our first dance. the problem is she likes country i don't really, at all, ever.

can any of you recommend some nice / uncommon love songs. maybe an old school r&b or a jazz song or something unique along those lines. rather it not be cheesy pop or a song that a million people have already used.

that guy that fucking knows everything and no matter WHAT you are talking about he knows more than you and will interrupt your story to tell you are wrong. it's slightly amusing when you just calmly disagree with what they've said and then they get louder like it's some sort of life or death situation and you're not listening to their very educated opinion. you couldn't give 2 shits about what they have to say and are still genuinely pissed that they interrupted you in the first place.

the marketing dept at my company is fucking horrible. i have been waiting on a rebranded identity for part of our company to include on the new website design. all sections have a banner at the top 750x100 px. i finally get the new branded banner. it looks nothing. NOTHING like the others. complete disregard of colors and layout. ok... fine, but the majority of it is white. i cant have a white banner on a white page. elements are cropped in weird places and there is no edge. and don't even get me started on the logo and the typography. i swear this girl is fucking retarded.
