that guy that fucking knows everything and no matter WHAT you are talking about he knows more than you and will interrupt your story to tell you are wrong. it's slightly amusing when you just calmly disagree with what they've said and then they get louder like it's some sort of life or death situation and you're not listening to their very educated opinion. you couldn't give 2 shits about what they have to say and are still genuinely pissed that they interrupted you in the first place.

the marketing dept at my company is fucking horrible. i have been waiting on a rebranded identity for part of our company to include on the new website design. all sections have a banner at the top 750x100 px. i finally get the new branded banner. it looks nothing. NOTHING like the others. complete disregard of colors and layout. ok... fine, but the majority of it is white. i cant have a white banner on a white page. elements are cropped in weird places and there is no edge. and don't even get me started on the logo and the typography. i swear this girl is fucking retarded.

it's unreal.

simon pegg is a blessing in hollywood. and its one of those feel good movies / romantic comedies so you can take your girl. (or if you are a girl just tell your guy its the dude from shaun of the dead)

not as funny or as clever as shaun of the dead, or even hot fuzz, but still a hell of a good time. my friend and i laughed out loud like 8 year olds at a couple parts while our girlfriends kinda groaned. good times.

much appreciated to anyone that has some quality examples. have to design a website using this curly, ornate piece of garbage that marketing has already used in some pitiful print materials and i am having a mental block.

i troll around here and generally add to the sarcastic and cynical tone. i do it because it keeps me entertained at my monotonous job and because occasionally i make others laugh with a stupid comment or animated gif, but i sincerely appreciate when i see or read something fulfilling and genuine like the patrick o'brien thread and Bonseff's unfortunate story this morning. reading those accounts and hearing more about Tank's mother is so uplifting and refreshing and so so needed. sharing a story of humilty and strength and grace and love and spirit such as those is crucial to humanity. more power to all of them and their families, and to everyone else, struggling or not, that gives us a glimpse at pure, raw human beauty and integrity. the world needs more light - more things that make you slow up a step, realize life is precious, smell the roses, acknowledge and be thankful for even simple daily experiences.
