great work, but way too much of it on one page. he should build archives of the older work, or only focus on the very best 10-15 pieces and maybe have a 'more section' tucked away.

Thanks marcostill: I have the ability to do this, but some people like it all on one page, some like ... less. I keep going back and forth. Right now I guess scrolling is my way of ... putting it lower on the page :)
Ukit: Thanks, this is self admittedly a temporary skin with a very nice backend which I desperately needed. Yes the old site was nice, but I was outgrowing it in many ways and needed the backend. I plan on creating a custom solution, layout and skin soon. Right now this works great to get my site under control.

Not sure if it's all the hits you're getting, or your page is processor hungry (I'm on also on a netbook), but it feels very slow to interact with --something to keep an eye on.
Great work nonetheless. Reducing the number of projects might speed things up.
