Jason Kristofer grew up in Brooklyn, New York where he studied and majored in architecture. He moved to Los Angeles, California and studied acting while working under the direction of Sean Penn, James Foley and David Fincher and had the great opportunity of acting along side of Mark Wahlberg, Jack Nicholson, John Travolta, Harry Belafonte and Michael Douglas. It was at this time where he began to reevaluate "Acting" and equated his acting experience to "self branding" and effective marketing.
He has since returned to design with a continued and strengthened focus on both brand and marketing. In 2000 he accepted the great challenge of managing over 75 creatives within Wall Street's Agency [dot] com launching projects and campaigns for GUCCI, Donna Karan, Sony, Coca-Cola, etc. During this time in New York, Jason Kristofer conceived, designed, developed and co-created Newstoday.com and QBN (http://www.QBN.com/QBN for more information).
Today, living in Los Angeles California he continues to develop QBN with Patrick Riley (http://www.qbn.com/riley) at a rapid rate positioning the QBN brand and its products (http://www.Krop.com) as the number one destination for creatives online.
QBN & Krop combined have attracted some of the most well known fortune 500 brands: GUCCI, Forbes, The New York Times, Apple, Playboy Ent., HBO, Adobe, NFL, AOL, Nike, Google, Nintendo, Orbitz, Dreamworks, Microsoft, Paramount, NBC, ABC, MTV, VH1, ESPN, FOX, Electronic Arts, ifilm, Sega, Oakley, Inc., Nickelodeon, IBM, Lego, DirectTV, Time Warner, Maxim Magazine, Adidas, Puma, Urban Outfitters, Abercrombie & Fitch, BCBG, American Apparel, American Eagle, Victoria Secret, Fila, PayPal, Turner Broadcasting, Samsung, Guggenheim Museum, Yahoo!, Getty Images, Martha Stewart Living - Omnimedia, Intuit, OgilvyOne, Sapient, Aquent, Avenue A | Razorfish, Firstborn Multimedia, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Ticketmaster, Saatchi & Saatchi, WDDG, Bumble and Bumble, E3 Media, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, TBWAChiatDay, R/GA, CNET, Big Spaceship, Attik, henderson bas, Trollback+Company, Heavy, Anthropology, GoDaddy, Burton Snowboards, MIT, FIDM, E*Trade, Orange, Earthlink, Discovery, Ralph Lauren, and Walt Disney Studios.
